An Overwhelming Response!

Due to the overwhelming response to the project...

...we are upgrading server capacity to handle the amount of web traffic and to repair a security breach in the voting system.

THANK YOU for your amazing support for this project and these awesome students!

Voting will zeroed out and restart as soon as possible in order to ensure the integrity of the voting process. We will be up drinking coffee and working hard until you can get back online and vote for your favorite students with absolute confidence in the process.

Stay tuned for more information!

Voting System is Updated

The voting system is now enabled to handle multiple votes from a business, school, church, etc, that may share one IP address. Rather than limiting to one IP address, votes are now limited to any given computer's individual user accounts. So, even if you share one computer you may still get a vote per/ user account (e.g. "user account" meaning the number of accounts on your computer as in when you log into windows or your mac as "Mom" or "Suzie" or whoever). Just log in to your computer account and vote then log out and let the next person log in, etc. There are no user accounts hosted by this website.

We will continue to closely monitor the system for any difficulties. Please use the contact page if you experience any, but check these updates for answers. We do get your comments and we will respond here rather than individually. Thank you to those of you who have let us know.

Happy Voting!!!

Voting System Update

With over 4000 votes cast already in the second day of voting we've had a few technical issues. Also, the IP restrictions have put too many unnesessary restraints on voting.

SO, as of today we will be changing the system to a personal registration/ tracking system. For all of you who have emailed us with questions or any technical challenges: Hang in there - we're not ignoring you! : - )

We're working our tails off to make sure there things are secure, fair, and as easy to use as possible.

FullRide Ad Wins Gold Addy Award

Southwest Honda and the Full Ride team are proud to announce that we were honored to win a gold addy award for 2007 for the first Full Ride Project Ad. The ad first aired on TV on December 17, 2007 and will run until the next add airs starting the second week of March.

Southwest Honda was the client and is the primary sponsor of the Full Ride Project.

Patrick Kemp with ThreeLeaf Creative, Joseph Schlabs of Joseph Elliot Photography, and Andy Roller of Expio Leadership Consulting created, directed, and produced the ad.

Thank you to all the partners, sponsors, and participants of this project for your continued and overwhelming support of this project.
